Alyeska Chugach Open Partners with World Heli Challenge
Girdwood, AK – Alyeska Resort announces a newly formed partnership with the World Heli Challenge Alaska as part of its inaugural Alyeska Chugach Open event scheduled for March 22 to 25, 2012. With one of the biggest winters in the resort’s history, the 2012 Alyeska Chugach Open promises to be an exciting big mountain event with challenging venues featuring deep snowpack and plentiful lines. The top placing men and women ski and snowboard finishers in the Alyeska Chugach Open will receive entry to the 2012 World Heli Challenge scheduled to be held in Valdez, Alaska from April 14 to 26.

Alyeska Resort Presents J Mascis and the Fog Live at the Daylodge
Girdwood, AK – Alyeska Resort ’s has continually focused on bringing musical talent to Southcentral Alaska between shows at the Sitzmark Bar & Grill venue and development of the Alyeska Summer Concert Series. Working with Red Light Management on a number of acts this winter, the resort is very excited to announce a special mid-winter concert with J Mascis and The Fog to be held at the Alyeska Daylodge on March 30 and 31, 2012. Doors will open at 7:00 P.M. and the opening act, Eric McFadden, will take the stage at 8:00 P.M. Tickets for the concerts are $20 in advanced and $25 at the door. The concerts are ages 21 and over.
