The Summit at Snoqualmie has a long history dating back to the 1930's when, what is now Summit West started up its first rope tow. A few years later Summit East, known then as the Milwaukee Ski Bowl was also opened by a separate company, followed in the late 1940's by the opening of Summit Central by yet another company, followed by the opening of Alpental in the late 1960's by a fourth group!
