Okemo MountainWhen Tim and Diane Mueller bought Okemo in 1982 they took on a mountain with lots of potential. Valentines Day Scavenger Hunt! Find the Liftie with a Heart Contest and Heart Scavenger Hunt. When kids find the lift attendant wearing a Valentine heart, they must get his name and report it to the Okemo Ski + Ride School desk for a special prize. Another ten hearts are hidden somewhere along Okemo\\'s trails. When kids find one and bring it back to the Okemo Ski + Ride School desk, they win a special prize bag filled with goodies! Confections provided by M&M Mars. Couples can celebrate romance with a cozy candlelight dinner at Coleman Brook Tavern.

Womens Alpine Adventures! Two-Day Program for all ability levels. This program is designed exclusively for women and led by some of the best female ski and snowboard coaches in the business. Their goal is to take skiing and snowboarding women to the next level in any snow conditions and on any terrain. Participants quickly overcome fear, build self confidence and meet new friends in a supportive and social environment. For more information, call (802) 228-1600. February 25th and 26th.

AMP Energy Light the Night Rail Jam! We're throwing some light on Bull Run and some cash at competitors. Join us in front of The Sitting Bull at 6pm for the AMP Energy Light The Night Rail Jam. The entry fee is an easy $20 and we're splitting the money with the Ludlow Fire Department who are helping to light the rail. Half to our volunteer fire deparment, half to the winner. Plus, The Killarney is throwing down an additional $250 for prize money AND throwing an after party! Event is on February 27, 2010.

The Killarney St. Patrick Day Scavenger Hunt! Ten shamrocks will be hidden along Okemo's trails. When kids find one and bring it back to the Main Base Lodge Ski & Ride School desk, they win a special prize bag filled with goodies! A St. Patrick's Day Party sponsored by Guinness will feature musical guests Gypsy Reel from 3 to 6 p.m. in the Sitting Bull Bar & Restaurant. The party continues at The Killarney with more great irish music and Guinness Draught! Event is on 3/17/10.

The Killarney presents the SPLASH FOR CASH! Go big AND get wet! We're setting a huge kicker up at the beginning of the slush cup pond. You've got one shot to go big and get wet. Show us your best freestyle trick and land any way you want in the warm warm slush cup water. It's a twist on the long-running Snowriders Gone Wild Rail Jam - no rail just a jump.. and water... Two age catagory winners will split the registration fees and go home with some wet dollars in their pockets! Register for the Splash for Cash and the Slush Cup for only $30. Event is on April 3, 2010.

Okemo Slush Cup! The object is to ski or snowboard down a trail and skim across an 80-foot long man-made slush pond without falling into it! Open to the first 125 participants. Entry fee is $20. Registration from 8:30am-10:00am in the Okemo Base Lodge Mezzanine. Event starts at 11am! Register for the Splash for Cash and the Slush cup for only $30. Event is on April 3, 2010.

The Hatchery in Ludlow presents Okemos annual Easter Egg Hunt, the hills are teeming with colored eggs stuffed with prizes, but theres only one Golden Egg hidden on an Open Trail at Okemo. The one who finds that, wins a pair of skis or a snowboard plus there are lots of eggs filled with prizes from The Hatchery in Downtown Ludlow. Event is on 4/11/10.
