Up in the western part of Penobscot County you'll find the little town of Lee and Mt. Jefferson Family Ski Area. It's a fine small area that caters to area families from Lee, Springfield, and the "big town," Lincoln, 11 miles west. Terrain Eleven trails and a halfpipe are served by a T-bar and a rope tow.
