President's Weekend Fireworks!!! See fireworks at Monarch Saturday, February 18 starting at 6pm. The Sidewinder Bar will be hosting the Happy Hour menu and drink prices starting at 3pm and throughout the fireworks display. (Full menu available until 3pm.) View the display from the Sidewinder, deck or base area.

COSMIC Race the Divide: The Colorado Ski Mountaineering Cup, a seven-race ski mountaineering series in Colorado, has a stop at Monarch Mountain again this year. Look for more tree skiing and a boot pack if conditions permit. Chance of powder is high.

Kayaks on Snow: Monarch's signature event. Contestants race head to head, similar to Skier Cross, down a specially designed course featuring berms, banks, and bumps, ending in an icy pond! End of Season Cook-off & Tailgate Party: Celebrate the end of ski season and beginning of whitewater season with our annual parking lot cook-off and tailgate party. Guests are encouraged to whip up their best eats, competing for next year's season pass among other goodies. Contestants will also be judged on decor and spirit, so spiff up your rig and come on up, snow or shine! This event continues to attract closet chefs from around the region. Bring your appetite!
